What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural, altered state of consciousness, similar to deep relaxation or daydreaming. It is a pleasant state of relaxation, where external stimuli are greatly diminished. In this relaxed state you can harness more fully your own positive internal resources. Through relaxation, imagery, visualization and breathwork, you are guided into a calm, open state where your mind is able to access its innermost strengths to provide new solutions and perspectives. During hypnosis, you remain aware and lucid as you create new paths from old ways. Change and healing take place as positive suggestions are offered to the subconscious mind.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful and effective method of changing the way you perceive the world. Whether you are wanting to change behavior, enhance performance, develop inner strength, or promote healing, hypnosis is a wonderful and often short-term way to quickly affect the change you desire.
Hypnosis always provides increased self-knowledge, and increased self-awareness. Sessions permit individuals to experience guided meditation or to enter higher states of consciousness in which they come to understand what are the best solutions for themselves.
